Michael J. Hajeck
Chief Executive Officer and Director |

Mr.
Hajeck has served as Chief Executive Officer and a
member of the Board of Directors since founding SiliconSystems
in 2002. Mr. Hajeck is a storage industry expert with
more than 20 years experience in the solid-state storage,
removable media and hard drive markets and over the
last fourteen years has helped pioneer the solid-state
storage market. Mr. Hajeck’s extensive operating
experience, with emphasis in sales and marketing,
includes founding SiliconTech, Inc., co-founding MicroNet
Technology, and senior management positions with SanDisk
Corporation and SyQuest Technology. Mr. Hajeck graduated
with a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute. |
Carl
Swartz
President and Secretary |

Mr.
Swartz, a co-founder of SiliconSystems, has served
as President and Secretary since 2002. Prior to joining
SiliconSystems, Mr. Swartz served as Vice President
of Strategic Planning and General Counsel for SimpleTech,
Inc. Previously, Mr. Swartz served as a Vice President
for Northrop Grumman Corp. and as Staff Director and
Chief Counsel for a committee of the U.S. House of
Representatives. Mr. Swartz graduated with a B.S.
from the United States Naval Academy, an M.S. from
the University of California, Los Angeles, and a J.D.
from Georgetown University. |
Andrew
Talbot
Chief Financial Officer |

Mr.
Talbot joined SiliconSystems in April 2004 as Chief
Financial Officer. Most recently, Mr. Talbot was a
co-founder and Chief Financial Officer for Human Electric
Ltd., an e-commerce services company based in the
United Kingdom. Previously, Mr. Talbot served as Vice
President and General Manager for SimpleTech Europe
and Canada and was a senior manager for Coopers &
Lybrand Canada. Mr. Talbot has a B.S. in Computerized
Accountancy from the University of East Anglia, UK,
and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte
Haskins + Sells. |
David
Merry
Chief Technology Officer |

Mr.
Merry, a co-founder of SiliconSystems, has served
as Chief Technology Officer since 2003. Prior to joining
SiliconSystems, Mr. Merry served as Chief Technical
Liaison for Solectron Corporation’s Smart Modular
Division. Previously, Mr. Merry was Director of Worldwide
Applications Engineering for SiliconTech, Inc., Director
of Manufacturing for BizFon, Inc. and Vice President
of Engineering for Centennial Technologies. Prior
to joining Centennial, Mr. Merry held senior engineering
and engineering management positions with Digital
Equipment Corporation and Fairchild Semiconductor.
Mr. Merry graduated with a B.S. in Engineering from
the Ohio Institute of Technology. Mr. Merry has been
awarded seven U.S. patents. |
Gary
Drossel
Vice President of Product Planning |

Mr.
Drossel joined SiliconSystems in 2004 as Director
of Product Marketing and was named Vice President
of Product Planning in September, 2006. Prior to joining
SiliconSystems, Mr. Drossel was Director of Solid-State
Drives and Product Marketing Manager for SimpleTech,
Inc. Previously, Mr. Drossel held various marketing,
sales and field engineering management positions with
Motorola Computer Group’s Pro-Log division and
the industrial automation group of Parker Hannifin.
Mr. Drossel graduated with a B.S. degree in Electrical
and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. |
Timothy
Leary
Vice President of Marketing |

Mr.
Leary joined SiliconSystems in August 2006 as Vice
President of Marketing. Prior to joining SiliconSystems,
Mr. Leary was co-founder and Managing Director of
South Pointe Partners, Inc. Previously, Mr. Leary
served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating
Officer of Venturi Wireless; and Executive Vice President
of Expert Software. Prior to joining Expert Software,
Mr. Leary held senior management positions with Channel
Distributing and various Catalyst Ventures’
portfolio companies. Mr. Leary has a B.S. from Springfield
College and an M.B.A from San Francisco State University. |
Edward
Meek
Vice President of Operations |

Mr.
Meek joined SiliconSystems in December 2005 as Vice
President of Operations. Most recently, Mr. Meek was
Senior Director of Worldwide Planning and Procurement
for SanDisk Corporation, the world’s largest
supplier of data storage products. Previously, Mr.
Meek was Senior Director of Global Supply Chain Management
for Lexar Media and Materials Manager for SanDisk.
Prior to joining SanDisk, Mr. Meek held senior materials,
logistics, and supply-chain management positions with
Exabyte Corporation, Maxtor Corporation and Shugart
Corporation. Mr. Meek attended the University of California,
Santa Cruz. |
